Raise a stein and toast Delta County. It’s time once again for the Delta County Chamber Annual Dinner.
Held at the Island Resort & Casino on October 11th, the event will bring back the popular Oktoberfest theme to celebrate the achievements of individuals and businesses in Delta County.
This annual event presented by Michigan Works! and OSF St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group, features a community awards ceremony, Delta Force Leadership Program graduation as well as induction of the 2019 Chamber Board. Guests will enjoy a delicious meal served by the Island Resort & Casino while enjoying the melodious sounds of live music performed by the Impact of Brass. This year’s event will also celebrate the spirit of collaboration as we feature the 25th Anniversary celebration of the Delta County Economic Development Alliance.
Vickie Micheau, Executive Director said, “the Awards Ceremony is one of the highlights of the evening, which recognizes many aspects of the community with the excellence in education, community ambassador, century, business partner of the year, business of the year and Delta Force leadership awards as well as themed awards, Danke Schon & Schottenhamel. This event allows the community to recognize the many residents and businesses that work so hard throughout the year to make Delta County a great place to live, work and visit.”
In addition to the awards, the Annual Dinner also serves as the final Chamber Board meeting of the 2018 fiscal year, where new Chamber Board member induction will take place.
