On Thursday, October 11, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. the Midwest Skills Development Center will be hosting an Open House for the Electrical Line Technician Program.
Anyone interested is invited to tour the facility, watch pole climbing demonstrations, receive enrollment and admissions information, and meet current and past students, instructors, and educational and industry partners. Light refreshments will be provided.
The Electrical Line Technician (ELT) Program is a one year training program that prepares students to install, maintain, and operate electrical systems to supply electric energy to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
The ELT Program is a joint effort between Northern Michigan University (NMU), the Lake Superior Community Partnership Foundation (LSCPF), and the Midwest Skills Development Center (MSDC).
