Marquette Mountain is hosting three nights of live music to benefit local Special Olympics this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Scene and Reheard Winter Wingding will feature 9 bands. The shows will take place in the Marquette Mountain Chalet from 8-11 each night, along with silent auctions and other activities. The suggested donation is $5 at the door, all of which goes to Special Olympics.
MARQUETTE, Mich. – Marquette Mountain is scheduled to host a musical holiday three night fundraiser for Special Olympics Area 36 Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
WHAT: Scene & Reheard Winter Wingding to raise money for Special Olympics Area 36. A $5 donation is requested at the door, and attendees can participate in a silent auction, ugly sweater contest and much more. All donations will go directly to Special Olympics Area 36.
There will be live music from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. every night. The lineup:
- Dec. 13: Just the Two of Us, State 51 Band and Union Suits.
- Dec. 14: Taxi, The Crunge and Tuesday Jones.
- Dec. 15: Joel and the Good Boys, Triple Scott and Wrecking Ball.
WHO: Scene & Reheard musicians, and members from Area 36 Special Olympics, NMU American Marketing Association, and Marquette Mountain.
