The Stephenson Area Schools will be getting some new LED lights. It’s thanks to the Menominee-Marinette Community Foundation’s Clean Energy Grant initiative and the City of Stephenson’s Energy Optimization Program.
Superintendent Ron Kraft says that many hallway lights will be upgraded, and there will be new lights placed at the building’s exits.
The CS Mott Foundation also gave a donation to make the lights a reality. Kraft says the lights will look better and will save money for the district in energy costs. They will be installed over the Christmas break.
