River Valley Bank recently established a $500 scholarship at Bay College to be awarded to a Dickinson County resident pursuing a degree in Business.
“We are fortunate to have local businesses that believe in the importance of higher education,” stated Nancy Finch, Bay College Foundation Board Member. “River Valley Bank’s scholarship will help a Bay West student reach their goal of receiving a college degree.”
The Bay West Foundation Board meets with local businesses to encourage scholarship development and hosts events to fundraise for campus improvements. The support from residents and businesses of Dickinson County recently generated funds to create the Student Success Center at Bay West and establish a generous scholarship to help students pursue their dreams of a college education.
