The City of Escanaba will ring in 2019 Monday night with a fireworks display in the Municipal Dock area.
Escanaba Recreation Director Kim Peterson says the display will start at 9:00 Monday night, and will last between seven and nine minutes, She says the budget for the display is $5,000, so it’s not as long or as large as the city’s annual Fourth of July display. Still, she says, a chance for families to enjoy a holiday event that’s early enough for the kids to also enjoy.
The Municipal Dock is located at the end of Ludington Street, just before the entrance to Ludington Park.
