mBank together with Northern Initiatives and Eagle Mine through the Lundin Foundation have partnered to create a Federal Employee Assistance Loan program to help those being impacted by the government shutdown.
The three entities have pooled resources for a special loan program, available to current federal employees either being furloughed or working without pay as a result of the current government shutdown and that live or work in Marquette County.
“We want to thank mBank and Northern Initiatives for spearheading this program for our community,” said Matt Johnson, External Relations Manager at Eagle Mine. “We are proud to partner with both organizations to help those being impacted by the shutdown and in turn, help the Greater Marquette Area by providing some financial relief.”
The special Federal Employee Assistance Loan program will offer 0% interest with $0 fees to federal employees whose pay has been impacted by the government shutdown. Full program details and eligibility can be discussed by speaking with an mBank lending specialist.
