At approximately 1:30 pm on January 30, 2019, at Ace Hardware in Harvey, an elderly woman from Skandia accidently hit the gas accelerating her vehicle through the doors and into the store.
No injuries were reported by driver. Fortunately no one was standing near the cash register when the crash happened. There was moderate damage to shelving units and stock inside the store.
No citations were issued.
