Jamie Alan Eagle, Escanaba, was sentenced to prison for 23 months to 10 years for Possession of Methamphetamine; 23 months to 36 months for Possession of Ritalin; 21 months to 26 months for Possession of Vicodin. All sentences run concurrent. Eagle’s sentence results from three separate investigations involving Escanaba Department of Public Safety and UPSET.
In November 2017, Eagle came to the attention of an Escanaba Public Safety Officer for defective equipment. During a traffic stop, the officer searched Eagle and located multiple Ritalin pills in his pant pocket.
Approximately one week later, Eagle again came to the attention of Escanaba Public Safety, when they were dispatched to a report of an assault. During the course of their investigation, public safety officers located multiple prescription pills, including Vicodin pills in Eagle’s pant pocket.
In October 2018, while on bond for the other charges, UPSET officers, along with Escanaba Public Safety, Michigan State Police, and Delta County Sheriff’s Office, MI conducted a search of Eagle’s residence in the city of Escanaba. Drug paraphernalia was located, including a Methamphetamine smoking pipe that tested positive for Methamphetamine.
