Blizzard warnings remain in effect this afternoon across most of the Upper Peninsula as winds are gusting over 40 miles per hour.
Michigan State Police have closed M-28 between Harvey and Munising because of whiteout conditions. You will have to use M-94 as an alternate route to get between the two communities. Travel is not recommended anywhere in the north central Upper Peninsula today due to continued lake effect snow and blowing snow.
