continuing into this evening. Additional snow accumulations of
10 to 17 inches, except 5 to 8 inches near Skandia and Marquette
and 2 to 4 inches south of Gwinn. Northwest winds will gust as
high as 55 mph this afternoon and evening.
* WHERE…Baraga and Marquette Counties.
* WHEN…Until 1 AM EST Monday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Travel will be very difficult to
impossible. Widespread blowing snow this afternoon and evening
will lead to whiteouts. Roads in open areas could become deeply
drifted and impassable. Strong winds will likely down some tree
limbs and power lines this afternoon and evening. Sporadic
power outages will occur in some areas.

inches. Expect occasional snow this morning, possibly mixed with
freezing rain. A light glaze of ice is possible. Snow and winds
will then increase this afternoon. Northwest winds will gust to
50 to 65 mph from mid afternoon through this evening, strongest
near Lake Superior.
