A 29-year-old Negaunee man is dead following a head-on crash in Negaunee Sunday afternoon.
Police say it happened just before four in the 700 block of County Road. The as-yet unidentified man was trapped in his vehicle after it collided with a vehicle driven by a 69-year-old man from Ishpeming. The victim was removed from his vehicle, but died later at Bell hospital. The 69-year-old suffered what police call non-life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
