In celebration of our 36th year we are planning on having another exciting family event with lots of laughs, contests and of course hockey! We appreciate all the coverage and support the local media and our community has given us over the years. This support has helped us to give back nearly $400,000 to fire victims. Displaced families are given cash for immediate expenses and also a few days stay in a local Hotel or Motel to help begin the process of putting their lives back together. The fund is available to all Marquette County Residents
This year’s game is on Wednesday, March 13th, 7 pm at Marquette’s Lakeview Arena. Our awards ceremony will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.
This game pits local Firefighters and Law Enforcement Officers in a fun and spirited hockey game along with a family atmosphere with Mascots, Many prizes large and small, Awards, games and giveaways. Tickets are only $1 which enters you to win prizes up to $1000.00 in cash. They can be purchased from local Firefighters and Police Officers. Following is a list of events and grand prize donors this year.
The generosity of our local business community allows us to draw for many prizes of all sorts from food to services and everything in between. Major prize sponsors such as Eagle Mine, Holiday Gas Stations and Farm Bureau Insurance-Scott Huber allow us to give away several large cash prizes to lucky winners.
A game of “Chuck a Puck” will be played for a great cash prize, Superior Pipes and Drums will play, Firefighter and Police Officer of the Year Awards will be given along with other honors to local Emergency Service members.
An assortment of other activities such as free prizes randomly tossed in the crowd by players, kids activities and more. A 4th Period Reception will be sponsored by the Holiday Inn , and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
