Gov. Gretchen Whitmer today announced the following appointments to the Mackinac Island State Park Commission.
Marlee Brown, a Democrat, of Mackinac Island, is a renowned artist. Ms. Brown is appointed to succeed Mary Callewaert representing island residents for a term expiring April 12, 2025.
Barry J. Goodman, a Democrat, of Farmington Hills, is a founding partner of Goodman Acker PC. Mr. Goodman is appointed to succeed Marcia Brogan for a term expiring April 12, 2025.
The Mackinac Island State Park Commission is responsible for all aspects of managing Mackinac State Historic Parks.
The appointments are subject to advice and consent of the Senate.
