Northern Michigan University Athletics has partnered with the YMCA of Marquette Country to continue the successful tradition of youth competitive swimming in the Marquette community.
Starting this May, youth swimmers may sign up for the Wildcat Aquatic Club through the NMU Recreational Sports website.
The Wildcat Aquatic Club will be a dual affiliated club through the YMCA swim program and USA Swimming. With the help of the YMCA of Marquette County, the youth swimmers will be able to compete in meets in Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula, and YMCA nationals.
Through this partnership, NMU and the YMCA look to insure the success of youth swimming in the Marquette Community. The online sign up for the youth swim club will be available at the NMU Recreational Sports website by the end of the month
