A 34-year-old Rapid River woman will spend between 38 months and ten years in prison for an auto accident that seriously injured a 19-year-old Gladstone woman. Prosecutor Brett Gardner says Audrey Jo Hutchinson was driving under the influence of alcohol and various drugs when she crashed into Hannah Delaire on December 19, 2017. Police say Hutchinson was going the wrong way on U-S 2 and 41at the time of the crash. Delaire has undergone numerous surgeries since the accident. Gardner called Hutchinson “selfish and indulgent” in asking for the maximum sentence. Read the prosecutor’s press release below.
