Delta County voters have approved a tax renewal and increase for law enforcement services in the county.
The 1.3 mill proposal included a 0.9 mill renewal and a 0.4 mill increase to fund road patrol, search and rescue, and other services.
It passed on Tuesday, 2,695 yes votes to 2,198 no votes. Meanwhile, a 0.75 mill renewal for 911 services passed by a wider margin, 3,300 yes to 1,599 no.
Bark River Township voters approved a one-mill tax increase to support the Bark River Senior Center, and the Fire Department, by 122 yes to 85 no. The Big Bay deNoc Schools had the renewal of its operating millage on the ballot. It passed 241 yes to 148 no.
