Superintendent Sandy Petrovich wrote the following on the school’s Facebook page:
I would like to personally thank all of the residents that voted “yes” for our millage today! Though the millage vote failed with 507 yes votes and 686 no votes, I am appreciative of the 507 YES votes! The Board of Education will soon decide the next steps in this process. We definitely need a sinking fund to support the future years of education in our district. Please check out our webpage at gwinnschools.org and click on “sinking fund” to see our draft project list for the next 10 years. Again, thank you! Sandy Petrovich
