Bay College West Campus is set to host their second Leadership Conference. The purpose of this conference is to re-energize leaders to get their wheels spinning on how they can make a positive different in their workplace and community. The theme is Lead Where You Are.
It will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. CST. Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. CST, at the Bay College West Campus located at 2801 North US 2 in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
Eighty individuals are registered for this event. Dickinson County is feeling the demand to development and bolster their workforce. Individuals in attendance are interested in developing and honing their leadership skills.

- Keynote speaker, Dr. Joe Sanfelippo, is the Superintendent of the Fall Creek School District in Fall Creek, WI. Dr. Sanfelippo co-authored The Power of Branding-Telling Your School’s Story, Principal Professional Development: Leading Learning in a Digital Age and Hacking Leadership: 10 Ways Great Leaders Inspire Learning That Teachers, Students and Parents Love. He was selected as 1 of 117 Future Ready Superintendents in 2014 and 1 of 50 Superintendents as a Personalized Learning Leader in 2016 by the US Department of Education. He attended summits at the White House for both distinctions.
