Louie Anderson, named by Comedy Central as one of the 100 greatest stand-up comedians of all time, is the feature comic for one of two sensational comedy shows set to take the Island Showroom stage in September. These include the Bonkerz Comedy Showcase on Saturday, September 14 for just $18 and Darren McCarty’s Slapstick Tour on Saturday, September 28 for a mere $10.
The line-up of celebrated comedians in the Bonkerz Comedy Showcase includes three time Emmy Award® winner, Louis Anderson; Emo Philips, recognized by peers as one of the best joke writers on the planet; Sonya White, star of CMT’s Southern Fried Chicks; and a stand-up artist known as Tim “The Dairy Farmer” who’s opened for famed comedian Jeff Foxworthy among others.
The Darren McCarty Slapstick Tour is sponsored by the Island Resort and Casino in partnership with Radio Results Network. It features the Red Wings Legend and 4 Time Stanley Cup Champion for a show filled with hilarious stories, jokes, memories and a rousing session of Q & A.
