The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $1.7 million to resurface about 12 miles of M-77 from M-28 to the Alger/Schoolcraft county line in Schoolcraft County.
Work will include intermittent milling, asphalt paving, shoulder gravel and pavement markings. This project includes a three-year materials and workmanship pavement warranty.
The project is scheduled to start on Thursday and will continue through October 15th.

The work will require single-lane closures. One alternating lane will be open via traffic regulators.
This project will result in a smoother driving surface and increased safety.
