They’re heavy and they’re decades-old. They have names like “Police Force”, “Aztec”, and “Big Deal”. They are pinball machines, and they were on display for free in Escanaba’s Ludington Park Saturday afternoon as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
Jesse Powell is with the Yooper Peninsula Pinball Collective. He tells the Radio Results Network that young people were intrigued by these machines. Powell says that pinball is making a comeback despite everything being video-based nowadays.
