The focus will be on women in business at an event Monday in Marquette.
The Progressive Women’s Caucus Women in the Workforce Task Force has a hearing slated starting at 3:30 Monday afternoon at the Delft Bistro. The caucus is co-chaired by State Representative Sara Cambensy and Detroit-area State Senator Mallory McMorrow. They say they want to hear from—quoting now—“ local women from a variety of businesses to hear their stories and learn about their experiences.” The event will be open to the public from 3:30 to four—followed by a closed discussion until 5:30.
