The City of Gladstone removed the slide at the Gladstone Beach today, Friday, July 19, 2019 at approximately 2:30 PM for safety reasons. The City of Gladstone is required to remove any safety hazards immediately. The Gladstone Parks and Recreation Department is working to repair the slide and will reinstall as soon as possible. Today, Friday, July 19, 2019 The City of Gladstone closed the wooden portion of the Gladstone Boardwalk, which is located by Saunders Point until further notice. The reason for the closure is the high waters of Little Bay de Noc has created a safety hazard from the algae; which is creating a slip and fall situations.
