The M&M Area Community Foundation (MMACF), in partnership with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, will host a second round of leadership training for community members.
The three session class will be held from 9am – 1pm on Tuesdays: September 10th, October 1st and October 15th. The MMACF will offset the cost to participants, which lowers the price to $200 per person, for the series.
The September 10th class will cover “Coaching and Developing Others” which includes discussing steps a leader can take to help their teammates become successful and reach their full potential while focusing on their personal improvement as a mentor. This session will also explore the three ways adults learn and how to best accommodate those learning styles while training and coaching them. “Resolving Conflict and Promoting Collaboration” will be the focus of the October 1st class. Participants will learn how to reframe their perspective of conflict at work while promoting positive tools to resolve conflict and focus on collaboration. The most common conflict resolution styles will be highlighted so attendees become more self-aware of their behaviors. The final class will highlight “Time Management and Managing Priorities”. Attendees will review techniques to help them maximize efficiency in the work day and become more effective overall. We examine time robbers, time efficiencies, and Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Renée Butrym will serve as instructor for this series. She has worked as a training manager and a national marketing manager for Shaw Industries, a Berkshire Hathaway company. Renée currently works as a corporate trainer for the Corporate Training and Economic Development division for NWTC. She is considered a subject matter expert for leadership, customer service and business communications.
