Eight people were on the ballot Tuesday in the race for the Marquette City Commission.
The top four vote-getters advance to the November general election, when two seats will be up for grabs.
Evan Bonsall got the most votes, with 1,738. Andrew Lorinser was second with 962, Sally Davis third with 817, and Nina Vanden Ende was fourth with 567 votes. Margaret Brumm lost out on the fourth and final spot by 21 votes, finishing with 546.
Also in Marquette County, voters overwhelmingly approved a renewal of the Marquette County Medical Care Facility millage, with 5,266 yes votes to 1,063 no votes.
