The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $1.8 million to resurface about 13 miles of M-129 from Cedarville to M-48 north of Pickford, in Mackinac and Chippewa counties. The project begins on Monday and should wrap up by November 1.
Work will include crack sealing, paving, shoulder aggregate, and pavement markings. This project includes a three-year materials and workmanship pavement warranty.

Meanwhile, M-DOT is also investing about $2.6 million to mill and resurface about 12 miles of M-134 from Cedarville to the east Mackinac/Chippewa county line.
This project also starts Monday, and should be done by September 15th.
Work will include milling, paving, shoulder widening, and pavement markings. This project includes a three-year materials and workmanship pavement warranty.

In both projects, there will be single-lane closures. One alternating lane will be open via traffic regulators.
