On 08/17/19, at approximately 0042 hours, Escanaba Public Safety Officers were dispatched for a structure fire at 1406 Sheridan Rd. Upon arrival, Escanaba Public Safety Officers saw flames coming from the rear of the residence, and the fire was already in the attic. Attack lines were deployed and officers quickly extinguished the flames.
They remained on scene for approximately 2 hours. There were no injuries and the fire is still under investigation.
Escanaba Public Safety was assisted by the Delta County Central Dispatch center, Delta County Sheriff Department, Rampart, DTE, and the Escanaba City Electric Department.
