Katie Renee Studey, 35, of Suamico, WI was sentenced to 6 months in the Delta County Jail following the entry of a guilty plea to Possession of Methamphetamine (punishable by up to 10 years in prison).
On April 29, 2019, Troopers with the Michigan State Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to dim its headlights. The Troopers identified the driver of the vehicle as Studey.
Studey appeared to be under the influence of some substance and showed signs of impairment. During the course of Studey’s arrest, troopers observed a vial of crystal methamphetamine in the driver’s door area of her vehicle. A blood draw was conducted and the results showed amphetamine and methamphetamine in her blood.
