A Schoolcraft County man has been arrested on drugs charges.
Manistique Public Safety says that 19-year-old Martin Jarju The Fifth of McMillian was taken into custody on felony meth possession charges during a traffic stop at 1:30 last Thursday morning on North Houghton Avenue.
Officers say they found suspected meth in the vehicle.
Jarju was arraigned later that day in Schoolcraft County District Court on two charges: possession with intent to deliver meth…and carrying a concealed weapon…more specifically, brass knuckles. Bond was set at 10-thousand dollars and Jarju is scheduled to be back in court on September 11th for a probable cause hearing, and on the 18th for a preliminary exam.
