Governor Gretchen Whitmer has appointed a Negaunee man to the Michigan Iron Industry Museum Board.
Allan E. Koski, of Negaunee, is the senior staff engineer for Cleveland-Cliffs, Inc. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Mr. Koski is reappointed to represent the mineral industry, for a term commencing October 5, 2019 and expiring October 4, 2023.
Charles M. Swanson, of Marquette, is the president of Swanson, Mercier & Associates, Inc. and a member of the Marquette Historical Society. Mr. Swanson is reappointed to represent the historical society of the county of Marquette, for a term commencing October 5, 2019 and expiring October 4, 2023.
The Michigan Iron Industry Museum Advisory Board advises the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Environment on policies, plans and programs concerning the Michigan Iron Industry Museum. The Board supports education programs and public use of the facility.
These appointments are not subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
