Marquette Area Public Schools Education Foundation is proud to announce the 2019 Pendill Wall of Excellence award is being given to Jeff Olson, a 1981 graduate of MSHS. His many high school accomplishments in basketball and football, community service, philanthropy, and special achievements, including his induction into the State of Michigan Coaches Association Hall of fame, have allowed us to choose him.
Through the years Jeff has supported our local communities and youth by coaching for 37 years at Ishpeming. Following the suicide of his son Daniel in 2012, Jeff has dedicated his life to educating the public about suicide as a MENTAL illness.
You are invited to celebrate Jeff Olson and his accomplishments at the 2019 Pendill Wall of Excellence recipient on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 5:30pm in the MSHS gymnasium hallway, directly in front of the Pendill Wall of Excellence.
