Nichole Lynn Godfrey, 29, of Gladstone was sentenced to 23 Months to 10 Years in Prison. Godfrey was sentenced following the entry of a plea as charged for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Analogues.
On February 3, 2019, Michigan State Police Troopers responded to report of a female passed out in a vehicle. Troopers arrived and located a female slumped over behind the wheel of a red pickup truck.
Troopers determined that the female was Godfrey and she was under the influence of a narcotic. A pill bottle with Suboxone pills was located in the vehicle.
On May 29, 2019, Godfrey was arrested by Hannahville Police Department for a bond violation. Upon her entry to the Delta County Jail, deputies from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, MI received a report from corrections officers that Godfrey had drugs on her. Godfrey provided a baggie containing suspected Methamphetamine to the deputies. Godfrey admitted the substance was methamphetamine and the Michigan State Police Forensic Laboratory Report confirmed the presence of methamphetamine.
