Downtown Marquette businesses will once again be providing a fun opportunity for children to trick or treat.
On Saturday, October 26, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., families can bring little ghosts and goblins door to door collecting goodies from downtown businesses. Participating locations will have “Welcome Trick or Treaters” signs posted in their windows. Last year, more than 1,700 children and parents visited the district.
Those participating in this event are reminded that the event takes place throughout Downtown Marquette, that roads are not closed during this time period, and are asked to keep a close eye on their children and obey all traffic rules. People wishing to visit Downtown Marquette by vehicle on Saturday, October 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. are asked to drive slowly, be extra cautious, and be on the look out for trick or treaters.
