Michigan Republican Party Chairman Laura Cox will make a swing through northern Michigan this weekend to help kick off the 20-20 election campaign.
On Sunday, she will take part in a Meet-and-Greet at the Delta County Commerce and Visitor Center in Escanaba from 12:00 until 12:30. Also on Sunday, Cox will be in Marquette for a “GOP Round Up” at the Staybridge Suites from 2:30 until 4.
She says the trip is to —quote—tout Republican accomplishments for the region and help to prepare Republicans for the 20-20 election cycle.
Her northern Michigan trip starts with a stop in Gaylord on Saturday, and ends with a stop in Alpena on Monday.
