The Ishpeming City Council has a special meeting set for Friday morning to interview three candidates for the city manager position.
The first interview, at 9:00, will be with Darcy Long, who was fired as Gladstone’s city manager this past summer.
The second interview, at 10:30, will be with Richard Lock, who is the operations manager at the Ann Arbor-based Play Data LLC. This will be done via video conference.
Also, at 11:45, Craig Cugini of Fort Greely, Alaska, will be interviewed by the council…also by video hookup.
Ishpeming is looking to replace Mark Slown, who retired as city manager in June.
