The state transportation department says that Eastbound and westbound M-26 is closed until further notice between Great Sand Bay and west of Eagle Harbor due to water and debris over the roadway. The Keweenaw County Road Commission is monitoring the situation and anticipates the roadway may be reopened by this evening, depending on weather and wave conditions.
