This message from Northern Michigan University:
It appears we are in for another round of snow similar to what the area received this past Wednesday.
This storm seems to be more widespread; Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota are predicted to receive heavy snow with strong winds that will make travel very difficult. As faculty, staff and students travel back to the area we wanted to provide you with the latest information so travel plans may be adjusted accordingly for a safe return.
If your travel requires you to cross the Mackinac Bridge, please pay attention to the status of the bridge. With the prediction of high winds, this may impact the opening/closing of the bridge.
For those of you who live in the Residence Halls, we will be opening them at 6:00pm today, Friday November 29, 2019.
