At 10:01 p.m. Saturday night, 12/21/2019, Escanaba Department of Public Safety responded to 2601 Danforth Road (Escanaba Moving Systems) for a structure fire.
Upon arrival, officers witnessed heavy flames coming from the southwest corner of the building. Two attack lines were deployed and the fire was knocked down quickly. Officers remained on the scene for approximately 2 hours.
The building sustained heavy smoke and water damage.
There was no report of injuries. Escanaba Public Safety was assisted by the Delta County Sheriff’s Department, Rampart, Escanaba City Electric, DTE, and the Delta County Central Dispatch Center.
