Monday’s winter storm has led to a curtailing of some municipal services in parts of the Upper Peninsula.
In Manistique, the Schoolcraft County Courthouse closed early, at 1:30 in the afternoon. That includes the probate, circuit, and district courts, as well as all county offices.
In Marquette, the courthouse has been closed all day, per this message from the county administrator:

ALL CIRCUIT, DISTRICT, AND PROBATE HEARINGS ARE CANCELLED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED TO A LATER DATE AND TIME. THE MARQUETTE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT HAS CANCELLED ALL SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS. ONLY ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL MUST REPORT TO WORK
The high school boys basketball games scheduled for Monday night between the Manistique Emeralds and Negaunee Miners in Negaunee have been postponed.
