Escanaba’s Downtown Development Authority Director has resigned.
Ed Leagult has been the director since 2013, but he is stepping down to take the top job at the Delta County Economic Development Alliance.
He says the biggest accomplishments at the DDA have been the building of the Escanaba Marketplace, and facilitating “Race Driven” Polaris to come in to the old Northern Motors building.
Legault says he’s looking forward to the challenge of helping the business community across the entire county. He will start that position on February 17th, replacing TJ Thomas, who stepped down to become the general manager a Race Driven.
