In order to help mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus, we have decided to temporarily close theEscanaba Public Library and Bonifas Civic Center starting on Monday, March 16, 2020.
At this time,we feel it is best to close these two departments according Governor Whitmer’s State of EmergencyOrder which states, “…essential protections to vulnerable Michiganders and this state’s health care system and other critical infrastructure, it is crucial that all Michiganders take steps to limit in-person contact, particularly in the context of large groups.”
Currently, the plans are to keep them closed through at least April 5, 2020.
