On Sunday, March 29th Public Health Delta/Menominee Counties reported its first positive COVID-19 case in Delta County. The Delta County Airport has received information from the positive individual’s employer that she works at the Delta County Airport.
The best thing that the public can do to protect themselves and others is follow the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” executive order including the following:
• Travel ONLY when necessary.
• Stay home when sick.
• Avoid contact with sick people.
• Wash hands frequently and for at least 20 seconds.
• Avoid touching your face.
• Regularly disinfect commonly touched surfaces.
• Follow suggested guidelines for social distancing
For social distancing, the following procedures are recommended:
• Keep six feet between yourself and others when possible.
• Avoid public places at their busiest times.
• Work from home when possible
