The Marquette Downtown Development Authority (MDDA) is announcing the launch of Digital Downtown Marquette, an online page on the MDDA website dedicated to information regarding the status of businesses located within the Downtown Marquette district during the current stay at home mandate from the State of Michigan.
The web page, https://downtownmarquette.org/digital-downtown-marquette/, is a central locations for the public to quickly find the status of a business, how to contact them, purchase items, and find out if they are able to purchase gift cards remotely.
This information is reported by each individual business, and is updated as new information is made available. The web page will be operational until the current stay at home order is lifted by Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Businesses located within Downtown Marquette are encouraged to self-report the status of their business, and update the status any time a change to their operations is made. Downtown businesses should fill out the form found here: https://downtownmarquette.org/digital-downtown-marquette-business-information-update-form/
“This current COVID-19 crisis is having an impact on nearly every single business in Downtown Marquette. There is a great desire right now to support local businesses as much as possible, as they are the lifeblood of our community. This is a quick and convenient way to find information on a business and how to interact with them at this time,” stated Tara Laase-McKinney, Marquette DDA Promotions and Events Coordinator.
