The Delta County adult theatre group “Players deNoc” is putting on an event Wednesday night, but in the age of social distancing, it will be done on-line.
J.J. Spaulding is with “Players deNoc”. He says the play is called “Bare Cabin”, and it’s about a family who lives in a cabin out in the forest. Spaulding says it’s almost like the quarantine that we are all living underneath now, although he wrote this play three years ago before anyone ever heard of COVID-19.
Jamie Peterson at Players deNoc says the cast for the play will be performing from their homes, using Zoom technology. You can tune in, from anywhere in the world, on the Players deNoc Facebook page Wednesday night at 8:00…and afterwards, on YouTube. It’s about a 1-hour-45 minute long play, with five actors performing remotely, and a Chicago-based musician providing the music during scene changes.
