The U.P. Children’s Museum in Marquette will not be doing bookings for small, private events after all.
The musuem had announced earlier this week that it would sell two-hour-long blocks to groups of ten people or less. But the museum backtracked on Thursday with this statement:
“Due to a misinterpretation of the executive order regarding the opening of private museums and retail businesses, the UP Children’s Museum will hold off on making any bookings until the Governor has deemed it safe for us to resume business. We are super sad, but let’s all be safe and healthy! We plan on offering private party bookings as soon as the EO is lifted. Thank you and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
