Come the second weekend in November, area men will be flocking to the woods. Area women, on the other hand, will be front and center in the Island Showroom to see heartthrobs Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre with boy band 98 Degrees.
Tickets are just $38 and are expected to sell fast for the November 13 & 14 shows over Hunter’s Widow weekend!
With a 1997 start, the 4-member group ushered us swiftly into the new millennium, selling a staggering 10 million records in just 5 years. It was easy for women to get swept up in the romantic lyrics and danceable rhythms of the bands hits, like Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche), My Everything, Because of You, I Do (Cherish You), The Hardest Thing.
The quartet emerged when other teen-oriented acts such as the Spice Girls, The Backstreet Boys and NSYNC were just hitting the top of the charts around the world. They differentiated themselves from many of the other teen bands at the time by writing much of their own material, which reflected their own R&B influences
Last year 98 Degrees released their first full-length Christmas album in 18 years, Let It Snow, via UMe to glowing reviews from both fans and critics alike. The album featured the group’s signature R&B-tinged, four-part harmonies. The band embarked on a highly successful 31-city tour across the U.S. in support of their Christmas album in addition to their performances on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Disney’s Magic Holiday Celebration, Good Morning America, Today Show, Kelly & Ryan and more.
Tickets for 98 Degrees are now on-sale online at islandresortandcasino.com or by phone with credit card: 877-ISL-SHOW.
