The Delta County Prosecutor’s office on Thursday said that it is investigating the report of dozens of animals being housed at a home near Rock.
The statement said that it will be looking into “appropriate criminal charges” once the Michigan State Police finish their investigation.
Some 134 dogs and 20 horses were found after two separate search warrants were issued earlier this week. They’re looking the living conditions that the animals were held in as part of the investigation. The Delta Animal Shelter is helping to take care of many of the animals.
