Starting Monday, October 5th, the right hand (south bound) lane will be closed beginning at 8 am, on US 2 & 41 from the overhead railroad crossing (near the KFC restaurant) to the 14th Ave North intersection. The lane will remain closed until the work is completed on Thursday or Friday.
This closure is due to replacing a faulty water services. No disruption to potable water service to adjacent costumers is expected at this time. Please expect some delays, and slow down or avoid this area.
Starting Monday, October 5th, the center and north bound (left hand) lanes will be closed beginning at 6 pm, on M-35 (South Lincoln Road) near Walgreens and the US 2& 41 intersection. They will remain closed until the work is completed later that same night..
This closure is due to the work of installing a Cured-In-Place-Pipe liner designed to rehabilitate the aging sanitary sewer main crossing the highway. The City has hired Tunnel Vision to conduct this work on our behalf. Tunnel Vision will have provided proper notification of the scheduled disruption of any sanitary sewer service to all adjacent costumers who will be affected.
Please expect some delays, and slow down or avoid this area.
