All south bound traffic on US 2 & 41 will be detoured to North 30th Street at Danforth Road, as soon as all road construction signage has been deployed.
During the work of replacing a faulty water service, it has been found that the water main is located further into the center of the highway than anticipated. In order to safety excavate the water main; both south bound lanes must be shut down during this work.
This segment of highway will remain closed until the work is completed on Thursday or Friday.
Please expect some delays, and slow down and avoid this area.
